YOU GOTTA SEE THIS: “Met Before” by Chairlift

Chairlift wants us to choose our destiny. Or, rather Caroline Polacheck’s destiny in the new video for the song “Met Before.” We have control via arrow keys, taking her from room to room, to love in a classroom, or to see amazing things from the chem lab-like seeing Patrick Wemberly wearing suspicious looking black latex gloves. As I stated in album review, “Met Before” is smart electro-pop, echoing Pet Shop Boys dance beats and delivering on the emotion. The video is well done interactive genius — I went through at least three times and got three different stories, and a burning desire to find me a yellow trench coat.
