HEAR THIS: James and Evander

September 30. 2011 | By Sharon Payne

If you’re looking for a quick vacay in dreamy synth-pop-land, James and Evander is your destination. The duo consists of Adam Myatt and Glenn Jackson, from Oakland, CA. The title track off of their recently released EP, “Constellating” is uplifting and blissful, with not-too-shabby vocals. “Really Real” goes from chill into pop overdrive, and is oh-so-fun!

Their 5-song EP (3 tracks and 2 remixes), Constellating, is available now on Amazon, eMusic, and iTunes, and is just a sample of what’s to come. James and Evander are working on a full-length album due for release in early 2012 and will be touring this fall in support of the EP. Bay area indietronica fans – be sure to check them out at Rickshaw Stop on November 11.
