Houses Of Heaven rolls out an assured debut EP in Remnant, available now on LA-based label, felte. In just four songs, the band lays out their road map, taking the base elements of post-punk and twisting them to their own ends. The Bay Area trio of Adam Beck, Keven Tecon, and Nick Ott essay sonic landscapes to get lost in, finding a sweet spot between a motorik chug and dub density, aided by Oakland production wizard Monte Vallier. From the hypnotic pulse of “Black Waves” to the soaring “Subfloor,” it’s music to get lost in, and if you clap on the headphones and push the volume, you will begin to get a taste of how overwhelming the Houses Of Heaven live experience is.

Catch them in Sacramento at Blue Lamp with label-mates SEXTILE on Sunday June 11th.
