HEAR THIS: Haunted Summer

It’s hard to believe that it’s been four years since we first fell under the spell of LA’s Haunted Summer. The beguiling EP Something In The Water was a Nest Favorite, and the money quote from then was: “It’s like falling asleep in a bathtub of cough syrup.” We’ll happily stand by that quote, and furthermore, the husband/wife duo of Bridgette Moody and John Seasons has dropped a sparkling new single “Every Step,” as a prelude to their full-length debut LP Spirit Guides, due out September 29th.
If you want to do your homework ahead of time, catch them live on the West Coast in August, touring with Avi Buffalo, including a stop at the Elbo Room in San Francisco tomorrow, August 8th. The official release show will be held at the Hi Hat in LA on September 30th.
