Ah, the men of music: as there is Portugal. The Man, so there is another man on the scene: Francisco The Man. Named after a troubadour in Gabriel Garcia Marquez's 100 Years of Solitude, the LA-based quartet is more on the lines of Phoenix and Peter Bjorn and John than their listed genres of “Regional Mexican/Italian Pop/Shoegaze.” A band with a sense of humor goes a long way though.
