HEAR THIS: Fonda

July 20. 2011 | By Jennifer Shields

Fonda is made up of music editor David Klotz (Glee) and screenwriter Emily Cook (Gnomeo and Juliet). The band has been together for 17 years, releasing 3 albums and writing the theme song for the movie Spy Kids. They’ve been on hiatus for the last eight years living life and taking care of business (i.e. having a baby boy named Henry, indulging in career opportunities, going to wine tastings and of course paying their mortgage). Their return to the music scene is perfect timing as the masses are nice and primed for their very indie pop sound. Their five-song EP Better Days (recorded around little Henry’s nap schedule), is a feel-good vibe and perfect for any bright, sunny, happy day.
