The scenic mountainous backdrops and earthy melodies remedied all feelings of claustrophobia as the tightly packed venue began to surrender to the power of Lord Huron‘s introspective, wide-open sound. Although the overall feel good attitude of the crowd may have been due to a combination of nonchalant mid twenties Brooklynites trying to “experience the sound, man” and overpriced beer, Lord Huron’s vibe could have hypnotized a Harlem-shaker into submission; especially with the bands most famous, “Time To Run.” With their recent release of Lonesome Dreams, the band’s energy was also apparent as they brought their desert sunset sound to the stage with vibrancy.
