San Francisco rock band "The Downfalls" recently released their first full album, titled Last Night. It contains 12 songs that range from classic glam rock to more modern garage influences. If you like artists like The Stooges or The Pixies you will like The Downfalls as well.
"All The Way" is carried perfectly with the voice singer Mark Bornstein, who manages to deliver a hard but re-assuringly smooth voice. "Killing Seventeen," "It Goes On," and "Ghost Of Megan" are interesting songs as well, but "Feels so Good" makes it as the second best track on the album. "Empty Sky" which has a timeless classic rock 'n' roll quality to it is the best song. "California Dream" might be the least interesting track on the album, but overall this is very balanced and should satisfy most rock fans. Take note: you need to listen to the album a lot to "get it." This is not pedestrian music. Your attention is required. - Eugenia Loli-Queru
