YOU GOTTA SEE THIS: "The Blame" by Gonjasufi

March 12. 2012 | By Sean Morris

Gonjasufi is clearly not buying the “recovery is taking hold” rhetoric. His only companions in “The Blame” are a blanket, a transistor radio, and the 1970s film crew following him around. Given the Clockwork Orange gone hip-hop beat and lines like “even I’m ashamed of me,” we are to assume the worst has occurred. But not everyone is going to see an abandoned Los Angeles as a bad thing. Maybe once Hollywood runs out of '80s movies to remake and relies solely on motion capture performances, pretty people with stars in their eyes will flock to Salt Lake City instead.
