“Shout It Out,” Hanson’s newest record, has received praised from every media outlet that has decided to review the record. Their tour seems to be getting the same type of reviews as well. With that said- here’s another one to add to the list.

Keane kicked off their US tour at the Fox Theater in Oakland. Accompanying them on the road are Fran Healy and Ingrid Michaelson. I must say, the opening acts left me feeling much more impressed than Keane did.
Though Iâ€™m looking forward to the things to come in my life, letâ€™s be honest- itâ€™s all downhill from here on out. Being on Paul McCartneyâ€™s personal guest list and being able to watch him perform his legendary songs only a few feet in front of me is a pretty amazing thing to be able to say Iâ€™ve done. I am forever changed.

There’s nothing like a good fast paced piano to get your feet moving, and Jamie Lidell certainly delivered that last night at The Independent. Though there were a few “huh?” moments, overall the show was eclectic, bringing together a mix of funky beats and soulful vocals.
