FROM ACROSS THE POND: Scott Matthews

This is an oldie. I had quite forgotten about Scott Matthews myself, partly because of my sizeable music collection and mostly because of my bad habit of buying almost everything that comes out and not having the time to listen to everything all the time. I came across some old CDs I had forgotten about and there he was, “great Scott!” I exclaimed. For selfish reasons, I want you all to fall in love with him so that he’ll get bigger exposure stateside and maybe grace us with some live tour dates (a-la Ellie Goulding). I’m not even going to cheapen his work with words. Just close your eyes and listen. Remind you of someone? Buckley? Drake? Thought so. If you’ve never heard of him, you’re welcome.
