Inside Fleurie‘s electro pop is a quiet revolution waiting to happen. This Nashville act’s sound is not that of a mutiny, but of a pounding communal realization, one that utilizes the essences of artists like Imogen Heap and Lucy Rose. “Fire in My Bones” features drums that can make beasts tremble, while “Hurts Like Hell” feels like a requiem that cannot be contained. Lauren Strahm’s honey-textured vocals on “Wildwood,” complete with her melodic coos, will be able to still listeners who are anxiously waiting for the next bad thing to hit them. The sounds on Arrows, Fleurie’s EP, will stroke you softly, then give you the push you need to fight battles underneath the moon and sun.
