HEAR THIS: Water Tower Bucket Boys

August 02. 2012 | By Hillary Smith

WTBB deliver honest and easygoing tunes. With all their country references and lyrics, these Portland natives are the most East Coast you can get on the West. The Bluegrass sounds they deliver with violin, stand up bass, acoustic guitar, and banjo are so authentic you can almost taste the dirt of the road they're standing on. Together, they strike a perfect balance of the instruments they play, and their harmonies are a beautiful addition to their full sound. At times, the banjo plucking is so fast and clean, it's hard to believe it's human. On the brink of country, their sound is a bit more complex and a lot more versatile. Check these guys out to know just what we're talking about.
