Is anyone getting tired of catchy indie, catchy pop, and catchy indie-pop bands constantly and consistently coming out of Brooklyn, NY? No? Okay then, moving on.

What we have here is Hospitality aka Amber Papini (vox, guitar), Brian Betancourt (bass), and Nathan Michel (percussion) — who nestled in that other music enclave on the east side of the country — have been doing their music thing for five years and it seems that they’ve found a place in the music world. The tunes have a relatable ease about them (especially if you’ve ever wondered what the hell you were thinking when you got that oh so useful B.A. in Liberal Arts), and their self-titled debut album is full of melodies that stick, stories of friends, and is considered damned adorable, yet grounded. How adorable? On the subject of friends, check out their video for “Friends of Friends”:

We welcome these east coasters as they venture out west on tour as they’ll be making a stop in the Silverlake part of town at the Satellite. You know that we have tickets to give you, right? Just tell us something funny about one of your friends (I said funny, not horribly embarrassing or legally implicating) and a pair of tickets could be yours! Contest ends 5/31.
