TRACKS OF THE WEEK – 12/17/2020 Edition

December 17. 2020 | By Wayne Jessup

Welcome back to another week of Tracks, kickstarted by our latest obsession, Seattle’s own Sundae Crush. “Lick It Up” merely scratches the surface of their debut full-length A Real Sensation, out now on Donut Sounds.

Based in Santa Cruz, The Snogs have also been occupying heavy rotation here at The Nest with “Sunflowers”, off their new cassette EP Boyfriend’s Dead, out now on Paisley Shirt Records. All proceeds will go to Mission Meals and the band will match donations up to $100.

From the heart of Cambridge, Massachusetts, Chris Brokaw (ComeCodeine) continues his singular journey with an epic new single “The Heart of Human Trafficking”, from his forthcoming LP Puritan, due out 1/15/21 on 12XU.

Connecticut-based  Dan Barrett (Have A Nice Life) is Black Wing. “Bollywood Apologetics” is from his sophomore LP No Moon, out last week on The Flenser. Finishing off this encounter, “Bait” is a bracing dose of Seahaven, from their LP Halo Of Hurt, released in November on Pure Noise Records.
