PICTURE THIS: Standing Shadows @ The Roxy Theatre, LA 10/5/11
Filling a club midweek at 10:15 PM can be tough, but add a little rain and you’d think LA was bracing themselves for a hurricane. Not only was Standing Shadows able to comfortably fill The Roxy Theater, but the self described alt-rock-electro band pulled the audience in close to the stage as they ripped through their tight set. The night was not a Freak Show as the title track from their latest EP with the same name would suggest, but that’s not such a bad thing. The LA rain brings out enough freak shows without the help of Standing Shadows.
