The Great American Music Hall started out the night with an R&B/jazz set by Ghost and the City. With a great horn section backing their excellent singing, Ghost and the City just about brought down the house with their version of “Sledgehammer.”

Rin Tin Tiger was next to take the stage and keep the music rolling. These guys were tearing up the stage with their brand of high energy folk. Rin Tin Tiger is Kevin Sullivan on guitar, Andrew Skewes-Cox on drums, and Sean Sullivan on bass (who was also holding down the head-banging duties).

Tumbleweed Wanders started out their set with Jeremy Lyon on vocals and guitar, Zak Mandel-Romann on vocals and bass, Rob Fidel on vocals, banjo, and guitar, Patrick Glynn on keys, and Daniel Blum on drums — but it wouldn’t stay that way!

They kept adding players, strings, then a horn section, and then the wonderful Rainbow Girls to kick the already fantastic harmonies up to another level. Tumbleweed Wanderers and friends kept the packed dance floor moving for the rest of the night.
